PUNDITS LATHER ON LIPSTICK BUT IT'S STILL MCcAIN

i get real tired of behind told mccain is the new messiah for the right.  we all know of handcuffing carbon credits, no oil drilling, etc. etc.  unfortunately, his GOD is POLITICAL CORRECTNESS and his ALTAR, the new york times.  George Bush nearly lost the Iraq war bowing to POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.  mccain is 10 or more times as PC as george bush.  how will he be strong on terror giving them U S citizen rights, access to our courts and no waterboarding.  we keep being told we must vote for him and he's conservative.  i am here to tell you that we advanced our agenda far more wfficiently while bill clinton was president than under Bush.  the republicans don't have the character to be in charge.  if al gore had won 7 years ago, the republicans would still control congress. the liberal programs of george Bush would have been fought on principle.            we've had two elections recently and the republicans have gone down with mccain in flames.  in illinois a solid conservative district voted in an obama clone.  the conservative hitched his wagon to john mccain and mccain campaigned for him.  the result?  conservatives knew better and stayed home.  i at least will vote in the general election but not for mccain.  in indianapolis, julia carson's grandson won over  a decent man.  andre carson is just as socialistic as his grandma.  he is also a muslem and apparently black christians thought that was just fine.  november will bring us terrible results for our local congressmen.   eric

why ms. coulter is right

i won't attempt to copy ms coulter's work.  she says it better than could anyway.  i will make my point by asking this question;  where would we be if al gore had won seven years ago?   right away, he wouldn't have the pulitzer prize and his MOVIE?   we wouldn't have the massive prescription drug program.  the republicans wouldn't have jumped on the amnesty program as they did (i hope only) to please the president.  (john mccain would be the only one on board).  the republicans would have fought al gore's high spending. but instead they loved to go along with george bush's bankrupting plans.  the republicans unfortunately, don't have the character to be in charge. that's why they are not in charge now. they are however, good at fighting for principal when they are in the minority.  if al had won, we would still have the majority because they would fight these big government plans.  we also wouldn't have the 2 good accomplishments. tax cuts and supreme court nominees(not including harriet).  i would shudder to think of al's choices here.  i also shudder to think of mccains appointees.  he may have high conservative ranking.  he only went with them when it didn't matter.  when it did matter he's always been liberal (as is bush).  i recall mccain going after a wisconsin right to life group in  order to save his precious campaign finance reform bill.  he cannot afford conservative judges because they would turn over his legacy.  he is a liberal  when the republicans were going to show backbone and force a constitutional showdown on judge appointments, mccain was right there to thwart the republicans with the gang of 14.  they allowed a few high profile appointees to a vote but then they bottled the rest up.. i cannot guess what al would have done after 9/11.  the dark thoughts we imagine about this are probably right.  george bush wasn't real hot here either as he let the political correctness crowd tie our hands for a long time.  he also stabbed our warriors and border patrol guys in the back pursuing nonsensical charges.  i will vote for hillary if i am forced to, to stop mccain.  the republicans can limit the damage for probably 4 years.  after two years of hillary, chances of regaining control of the house and perhaps the senate would be fairly good.  i have called mccains office complaining more often than my own senators (both are lousy).  i will not have him screwing us continually in order to please the media again and again.  we don't have to settle for a guy who always left his buddies hanging.  (he never knocks kennedy or lieberman or feingold, just our guys).  i will vote for my regular local republican locals.
